Windows Updates - KB943460 & KB890830

Since these updates, all of my text and font sizes has been increased
massively. I cannot alter th settings anywhere. I have deleted the updates
but this has made no difference.
I have tried used a system restore for prior to the upgrade but the system
is unable to do it

Can anyone help?

yes!!!!!!!!!
Go into control panel click on display , click on setting's, you should see
a slider or adjustment of some sort for (screen resolution) switch it back to
1024 by 768 pixels which would be on the more side of the slider. That is if
yours was accidently switched to 800 x 600 to the less side.
