Re: Updates download but do not install
Are you Harvey in disguise ?
Which version of Windows is installed in case you're not Harvey ?
IF XP is installed and you've done a recent Repair Installation, then
suggest you open a command prompt, stop the Automatic Updates service,
and register Wups2.dll according to the instructions here:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943144
If no joy follow the steps in Method 2.
