RECENT UPDATES

Anyone else update recently and lose their network information and Windows
stops recognizing your Processor and/or RAM?

I ran windows update and all of a sudden Vista stopped recognizing my
Processor and my RAM. It also wouldn't let me into my Network connections,
just froze every time you tried to get into it. I formatted my hard drive and
re-installed Vista (should have gone BACK to XP) and it's still doing the
same thing. I can't even install and run the new Version of AIM!! I did learn
my lesson and create a restore point before I do anything, but I'm at the
point where I'm ready to wipe it and start over again. Any suggestions???
