Hello,
I had the same access denied problem trying to delete msxml4.dll I made a
copy of it for safe keeping, and then renamed it to .bak.
Then I ran the manually downloaded update, and saw that a new .dll was
placed in the system32 folder, different size. I still could not delete the
..bak file, so I just rebooted.
After logging on, the update shield displayed showing that this update
package was still waiting to be installed, but a few moments later, it
disappeared. I confirmed by running MS Update, and checking for updates.
KB936181 did not show up.
Problem solved.
BTW, I do not have Kodak Easyshare installed.
Hope this saves someone some time.
