WSUS3 - Client Not showing up right

I have a very strange issue with SWUS3.

My WSUS3 server had been working correctly and now for some reason all new
clients with a certain image are not appearing in the console correctly.
What is happening is I go to the client and run
c:\windows\system32\wuauclt.exe /detectnow on system #1 and the system will
appear in the console. If I go to system #2 that has the same XP sp2 image
and run the command there it will bump system #1 out of the console. Running
it on system #3 will bump system #2 and so on.

The systems were all imaged using Ghost 8 and sysprep has been run to create
new sids. The strange part is all systems appear to be updating correctly.
I've gone through the Windowsupdate.log file but no errors found and any of
the systems.
