Re: Update KB936181 "successful" almost daily since 8/14/07...

i AM HAVING A SLIGHTLY DIFFERNT ISSUE .My operating system is vista home
premium .i am trying to install kb936181 , and as i try running the exe, it
does not install it and gives me the error that the path location to the log
file does not exist or is not writable.so i made c:\windows directory
writable .totally i could not make all the subfolders writable , so i made
the windows directory writable .
still getting same error .
but manually i cn write to the c:\windows folder now .pls help what to do
