Vista update error 80073715

Windows update tells me I need to install new updates. Then tells me it
can't find updates until I update the update software. When I tell it to
install the updated update software I get error #80073715. The only help I
seem to get offered is to try and update everything again.

Any suggestions?

I, too have the same problem, anyone know how to fix this?
