Windows XP

Problems started October 23. Get Windows Security Update-Stateing Auto
Updates not on.Click balloon.When I click the balloon I get this operation
has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer,please
contact your system administrator.
Did a search on my computer for windows auto update get no results to display.
Downloaded windows xp update KB910437,This did not solve my problem!
Checked my down load history did not show that I downloaded KB910437.
Also it seems that my control panel has disapeared?I can't find it anywhere
on my computer.
Also my Norton go back stoped working.Would not allow me to go back more
than one hour.Got intouch with Microsoft center.Told that I needed to empty
my go back files due to overload.So going back beyond October 23 is out.
Anyone elce haveing this problem?
