RE: Can I stop windows updates?

Andyra, I have a dell inspiron 2650 with 256mb ram and 1.6 gh processor and
since downloading the updates, my computer takes ages to open up from
switching on (approx 12mins) and it takes forever to connect to the internet.
Most times it says "No Connection" and I have to restart the whole
operation. Any suggestions?
