I have a laptop with Vista Enterprise. I had Bitlocker enabled (btw...I used
this article to config my sys. for BitLocker
http://technet2.microsoft.com/Window...mspx?mfr=true),
forgot the recovery password and when I installed a security suite (Embassy
Security Suite) designed to use the TPM chip I relaized I needed to clear my
TPM chip and start over.
So...I decrypted my Vista OS volume, cleared my TPM chip in the TPM.msc
(multiple reboots later) and then followed the steps to re-enable
everything...
I follow the instructions and get to the "Encrypt the volume" prompt, select
volume C:\ (the only one listed) and then am informed that I have
"Insufficient disk space for BitLocker..."
I have a 30GB System volume (19.2GB free), a 1.5GB Boot volume for
BitLocker(1.41GB free) and a ~61GB (40.3GB free) Misc. data volume.
Per other entries in the community I am defragging now and will try again,
any other suggestions?
