Do you have Skype installed? I have a vague memory of people having trouble
like this with an earlier version of Skype software. If you do have Skype,
contact them for resolution.
Do you use any VoIP services on your PC? Some of them parse the phone
numbers and make them into links that forward them to the VoIP application
to place the phone call. Check to see if you have Skype or other PC based
VoIP services.
