ActiveX IE7

Hi,

Due to the circumstance I currently find myself in I was hoping to try
and find a relatively painless solution to the following problem.

When using IE7 in protected mode my activex control is unable to write
to c:\programdata\myapp, I am aware that the control cant write here for
a reason and as such its not the best idea but it is the best idea for
me at this time.

So, what I am trying to find out is, is it posible for my activex
control to write here? I dont want to have to add to trusted sites or to
turn UAC off. I have tried setting the integrityLevel of
c:\programdata\myapp to low and setting UAC permissions for everyone but
this doesnt seem to work.

What other possible solutions are there to this, I dont really want to
use a brokering service.....?

Cheers
Mark
