Defender not running

I have vista ultimate, also runnning onecare. everytime I start up I get the
same error kdb.exe is not working. + if I try to start defender I get
application failed to initialize, error 0x80070002, i think htey are related
but not sure.

any ideas?

if you are running oncecare you need to uncheck the Resident Shield in
options
they do not play nice together.

sorry- resident shield in windowd defender needs to be turned off if you are
running onecare

I am not even able to start defender so cannot get in there to switch
anything else off

once care should be turning WD off that is why when you try to turn it on it
fails.

btw it seems that file error msg has nothing to do with Wd
