Microsoft Defender Update
Dear MS,
I keep getting this error message from Windows Defender. The program
can't check for definition updates. As well as Error found: Code 0x80240029.

Can someone tell me how to fix this ?

Windows security center is showing Windows Defender is out of date/

Re: Microsoft Defender Update
Try turning off Auto-Updates (also un-check Use Microsoft Update if you have
it) and then check for updates. When I did this, it showed updates for
Defender that were not showing when Auto-Update was turned on. I also added
Windows Defender to the Windows firewall Exceptions (not sure if this
helped).

run sfc /scannow in elevated command prompt and reply back with outcomes.
