I too was having this problem and wasn't getting a clear answer back on any of the Windows Sites. I did get an answer that solved the problem from a Google Discussion. Here's the link: Click Here
Basically, the problem was Google Desktop's. They have fixed it in the latest version. So use your Google Updater to update Google Desktop. Then close everything and restart.
I know that this link hasn't been responded to; and that you probably found an alternative answer elsewhere but the title of the thread was exact and so I thought I'd put the solution on it.
