I am using an Epson LX-300+II dot matrix printer in Windows Vista. I am
trying to print checks that are tractor feed 8.5" x 7". I added the cusotm
paper size in the print server and it is saved correctly, however, when I try
to print, the print properties dialog does not show the paper size. In fact,
there are many paper sizes in the print manager that do not show up in the
list of available paper sizes.

According to Epson 2nd level Tech Support, the problem is with the Vista
driver that automatically installs when you plug in the printer. Epson has
not yet released a driver for this printer.

Re: Custom Page Size
The Custom_size field in the text based GPD for the printer will filter
forms outside the range define in this file.

Re: Custom Page Size
I think there's an answer here but it does not tell me what file to look at,
if it's editable and if so, how do I change it.

Re: Custom Page Size
the extension is gpd.

make sure you rename the associated bud file for the device if you make any
changes, then stop and start the spooler to pick up the changes.
