So let's just make sure we've defined the problem here. I want to know what
happens when you try the following:
1) Launch Paint (mspaint from a command line)
2) Open some random JPG.
3) Print it (I'm assuming this works per your comments below)
4) Open some random GIF
5) Print it as well (I'm assuming this doesn't work per below)
Oh, wait, you're printing from a web page? From IE to an HP? There is a
known issue with some HP drivers where running in IE's new low rights mode
causes the driver to have issues. Try (just as a test) running IE elevated
& without the low rights mode to see if that resolves the problem. If so,
your beef is with the HP driver.
