Re: UAC and printing
I have a Konica-Minolta MC2530DL and have the same problem and here looking
for a solution. I have the latest Vista drivers and instructions, which
refers to this issue. They do not have a work around except to turn off UAC.
I emailed them and they told me this is an issue only with Vista Home
versions and it has to do with the way Vista UAC handles permissions. The
tech told me he knows of two incidents where the customer had Microsoft techs
try and resolve this and could not. So, for now, I guess we are stuck until
MS or the printer techs come up with a solution.
