printer offline won't ptint

my wireless 2700HG-B 2wire router is offline,wireless light is out. my
printer is Brother MFC-845CW and won't print. it is also wireless. what
is the problem?

the wireless light on my router is off.how do I turn it on ? also my
printer will not print or fax or scan.when I push scan display says
check connection,router is a 2wire wireless 2700HG-B. printer is a
brother MFC-845CW.thank you, Larry
