Printing tif faxes in Vista fax is rotated and stretched - skewed

I am running Vista Ultimate and Office 2007 Ultimate with Business Contact
Manager. If I open a tif fax that comes in over my email with windows photo
gallery or any other program that I have found in Windows to open a tif file
the fax is displayed upright on a landscape oriented page. I can not for the
life of me figure out how to get it to display in the appropriate
orientation. If I rotate the page or change landscape vs portorate same
thing. This used to be so easy... Please help.

I have seen this as well and would be very interested in seeing what the
solution is.

I also am experiencing the same issue but cannot find a solution. The
strange thing is that - for these problematic faxes, the TIFF file
itself really IS stretched, as shown in other editors such as MSPaint or
Photoshop. So then a related question would be - why, then, does the
fax appear correct (non stretched) when previewing it in the Windows
Picture & Fax viewer?
