Uninstall Norton and see if it will network correctly then. There should be
absolutely no problem in installing the Pixma providing your network is set
up correctly.

Although my Pixma 4300 is installed on a Vista PC, every PC in my network
can print to it.... and they can all also all print to my i950 which is
installed on a XP MCE PC. But then again, I don't, and will never have any
Symantec software on any of my PCs. I use NOD32 as antivirus and the built
in firewalls on all PCs..... and my router serves as a hardware firewall.
The wireless side is protected with WPA2 (aka WPA-Personal)
