Print Spooler Keeps Crashing

The print spooler continually crashes running Vista Business Edition (fully
updated). A user installed a printer from our Win 2K Print server. I am sure
that an XP driver was used. I tried to remove the driver via the Print
Manager, but the spooler service keeps crashing making it impossible to
remove the old drivers via the GUI.

Any help would be appreciated.

here's a KB to remove the drivers

but the user connection information is going to download the driver from
the server again when the user logs on so delete the connection as well.
