Epson perfection 1650 scanner

Vista Home Premium does not recognize my old Epson Perfection 1650
scanner. Any suggestions?

I am using a 1660 scanner without any issue. Have you gone to www.epson.com
and downloaded the Vista drivers for the scanner? If not you need to do
that. Apparently the US site is currently down but Canada's was open just a
few minutes ago but go to the site for your country. It doesn't show
drivers for any 64 bit version of Vista however.

I have an Epson Perfection 2450 which also did not work with Vista 64. After
searching I found a recommendation to use Vuescan from
http://www.hamrick.com which works with most scanners. It is working well
for me.

i have an epsoncx9400fax, supposed to be all in one fax,scanner & copier.
cannot find a way to scan.
