Printing from Vista word to Lexmark

I see this problem from others but no solution. One even changed
printers and still had the problem

When I print from word to my Lexmark 5200 it prints blank pages. I can
see the document in preview.

I reloaded the new Vista 5200 drivers.

Printer prints fine in all other modes.

It appears to be a problem with word printing a document using Vista.

Anyone has this situation?

I found the problem and it was not related to a program bug.

I had two computers, one with Vista and one with XP. Neither would
print from Word.

That keyed me in that it was not a Vista problem.

It ended up being a bad black ink cartridge. It was showing 3/4 full
but was not printing any black color.

When you would print a document from word it would process the request
and process thru the printer and would come out blank.

I found it by doing a print alignment and only the color pattern showed
up.
