MS Publisher Print Layout Issue
Hi there,
I am running Vista Home Premium, Publisher 2007, Epson Stylus Photo R800
printer.
i want to print 10 business cards on some precut business card paper. i
designed my card, then when i go to set the print margins, this is where i
have the issue. i set the top margin .5", side margin .75, Horz gap .0", Vert
gap .0", just like the precut sheet. i should see 10 business cards, but only
the top 6 cards show, with room for the 4 other cards, but that area is
blank. i have tried this on laser jet printer as well, with the same results.
i am familiar with publisher and formatting the printer, so i am quite
baffled. i have dug around and looked at every setting i could find, with no
luck. i used the snipping tool to capture an image of the issue, is there a
way to upload that pic?

Thanx for any help

Re: MS Publisher Print Layout Issue
[did not quote]
Curious, it doesn't appear limited to Publisher 2007.. I am working on a very similar issue with Publisher 2000 on Vista, and it locks up on load. However, opening the exact same file under Windows 2000/Publisher 2000, it works just fine. I originally thought it was a link to another system..
Hopefully I can figure this one out quickly (as I haven't found a solution anywhere yet.)

Re: MS Publisher Print Layout Issue
Possible solution...
I found that since the printer changed, it is looking for the old record, and old printer before it loads.. Unfortunately, this issue was not accounted for in Vista. (Not sure if this occurs in 7, but I plan to check.)
On my system, I was able to overcome this fault using a simple method..
Browse to the location of mspub.exe, normally
c:\program files(x86)\microsoft office\office\
Right click on the file, click on the tab / Compatibility \ and check the first box, and set it to XP SP2.
This will use the older methods of device verification and fixed the one I was chasing.
Thankfully this worked because the files weren't opening correctly under Win2k for some reason.
Good luck.

Hi..!
I think you no need to effort much because, as their is much demand for business cards you can make a print of your business card according to your requirements.
Good luck...!
