HP drivers

Anyone in the know when we might be getting drivers for the hp photosmart
7900 series of printers. It's been published as middle of march, end of
march, but still we have not got the drivers. I realize we can use the
alternative ones, but these do not give full functionality.

Only HP know the answer to that one, I'm afraid my crystal ball is totally
silent on the topic.

Have your tried HP again.

I emailed them about Vista drivers/programme for my C4180 and was told they
now have have updated all thier softwear on thier web site.

Yes, just logged on to HP but all they are now showing are the basic driver,
which I don't think will be any better than the alternative driver I am
using. This is so frustrating, I have logged onto HP every day since
installing Vista in February. I have used HP scanners and printers ever
since I started using a pc many many moons ago, but this is the end for HP.
They have had months to prepare for Vista coming out.
