Can't install any printer, used to work
Hi,
I'm using vista ultimate x64, and no matter what printer i try to add,
whether it be local port or network, or different brands of printers,
none work and all come up with the 0x000005b3 error: this operation
cannot be completed. I started having this problem after I had a power
outage, but since then i have done sfc and chkdsk and fixed everything,
except for this one problem. I really don't want to reinstall windows
just to fix this problem, so if anyone has a solution, please tell me.

Re: Can't install any printer, used to work
Does your keyboard choice now match the choice made when the OS was
installed?

Re: Can't install any printer, used to work
Unplug printer from usb port. delete printer in hardware
manager.Reboot, Down load latest vista driver at your printers support
site. Install driver.

Re: Can't install any printer, used to work
this is a very odd error. Do you get this error if you select the inbox
Apollo driver to LPT1:?
E:\>winerror 0x000005b3
1459 ERROR_REQUIRES_INTERACTIVE_WINDOWSTATION <--> No NTSTATUS matched
