Scanning to pdf...

In XP I was able to scan directly to a pdf file. Vista Ultimate 64 will
only scan to jpg, bmp, png or tif. Has anyone found a way to beef up
vista to be able to scan to pdf. I am not interested in buying some high
priced software to make up for Microsoft's version of a weak OS. This is
incredible to me that pdf is not an option.

Just wondering if Microsoft might have added a fix for this.

You must have something else installed in XP to allow it...?? Read here:

Or, install Adobe Acrobat....hit "Acquire" from the toolbar.
