Russ
USAOz has a valid point.
When in Australia to send a fax from Brisbane Qld
to Sydney NSW the number would be
02 nnnn nnnn. In Windows Contacts & Outlook
when entering a new contact you get +61 (02) nnnn-nnnn.
However, when I'm in Wyoming and wish to send a fax
to Brisbane Qld I have to enter the number manually as
+61 (7) nnnn-nnnn and Sydney would be +61 (2) nnnn-nnnn.
OK ! what are we doing wrong with dialling rules
or anything else where the 0 (zero) is not dropped from the
number. The same applies with mobile phones in Oz.
From Wyoming to mobile in Oz would be +61 4nnnnnnnn,
but in Oz the mobile number is 04nn nnn nnn.
I'm sure there is a simple answer to this but I can't
figure it out.
