unable to send fax

i just switched from xp pro to vista business. I used to be able to fax a
document direct from a program (quickbooks,excel,word,etc )using the ms fax
printer. Now it converts the doc to a tif file and says its write protected
and unable to send. then it says there is a problem with the fax & scan
program and its closing it.

You posted no information. State precise steps used to send your fax, what
happens, and precise error message. State how you installed Vista and how
you configured WFS.
