a) Even though it's a brand new printer, did you check the box to see if
there was big writing on it saying FULLY VISTA COMPATIBLE? Otherwise you
would only expect the CD to contain the drivers and software for XP.
b) Had you checked their website BEFORE installing the incorrect drivers,
you'd find out that a full package is available at:

Now you will have to uninstall COMPLETELY and DISCONNECT the printer...
reboot the PC, download the new software, and install it. Do NOT reconnect
the unit until the software tells you to do so.
