How is your printer setup? Are you connecting it to your laptop using
USB or is it a network share on another computer?
Does the printers control panel show the printer offline/disconnected
or online?
Can you print a test page from the printers control panel if the
printer is online?
Have you tried deleting the printer from the printers control panel
then rebooting then reinstalling the printer through the printers
control panel?
