Thunking Spooler APIS 30 to 64

Hi all,
Looking for some sort of solution to this problem. First, I'm running Vista
64 ultimate. Windows generates the error whenever I try to start the CD label
printing program for my Canon MP830. The whole message is "Thunking Spooler
APIS from 32 to 64 Process has stopped working." Windows then does the
solution check to no avail. I have attempted to uninstall/reinstall printer
drivers and the software, but that has not resolved the issue. All updates
are current. Anybody else run into this problem and able to resolve it?

This is the WOW64 printing layer for 32bit applications

Are there any Windows Error Reports that get generated?

the binary is splwow64.exe

Check the system eventlog for errors.

What is the exact application title?

Can I ask a stupid question? Canon printers do not generally put all of
the software needed to print discs on their printers in the US and some
other countries. Have you ever been able to print discs with your Canon
printer? If not is it possible you got a printer set up for the US
market by mistake? What country or region of the world are you in?
I gave up on my Canon printer to print discs because it had feed tray
issues. I still use it for document printing but I use a DiscPainter for
disc labeling tasks now.
