hp psc all in one half print
My printer is printing out half of the one page. It stops prinhting in the
middle of a page and goes to the next page. It stops printing after only finishing the top half of a sentence. I got it to work once. I'm also having an issue with my mouse and keyboard. The mouse will sometimes click a second time and the keyboard will get stuck on the last key for like 3 seconds. help me I have a paper due and need the printer. thanks |

Corrupted printer drivers. Uninstall and reinstall.
Although written for XP, the procedure is identical for Vista: http://www.coribright.com/windows/Article_One.htm -- Cari (MS-MVP) Printing & Imaging www.coribright.com/windows "Casey" <Casey@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:E8D5538E-D08E-4010-A619-948F2F4AF56C@microsoft.com... > My printer is printing out half of the one page. Re: hp psc all in one half print
it prints the test page just fine And I got it to print a three page paper
one time with no problems. I'll try your steps and see what happens. Windows update will not let me install an update for an hp driver and the hp website doesn't offer a driver it says that it is included in the Vista program. So ya um huh? Here goes nothing... Re: hp psc all in one half print
I think i figure it out. think the problem was from a usb hub that I was
using. I was having issuse with my keyboard and mouse and they seem to be fixed as well. I plugged my printer directly into my compy and it prints beautifly. If you absolutely have to have a hub then make sure it is a powered one and it might work better but direct into the PC is best -- long USB cables are cheap. I think I paid $1.99 at NewEgg for 10ft cables! Postage was $4 ..... so I ordered several. |
