Is the spooler running on both machines?
What OS is the machine sharing the printers running?
Since you are using you have a domain setup I assume the user account is on
the DC.
When you see the non shared printers, is this on the remote machine or after
opening the remote printers folder?
What registry share entries exist under the server service?
HKLM\System\CurrentControlServer\Services\LanmanSe rver\Shares
