Screen print
Very basic question but I'm a novice--when I hit Alt-Screen Print so I can
print the contents of an open window nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? |
Re: Screen print
It copys it to the clipboard. You can paste into Word, or Photoshop or any
other program. It still works in Vista. I've used that and the new snipping tool quite a bit for screenshots. -- Dustin Harper dharper@vistarip.com http://www.vistarip.com -- "ed" <ed@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:7680A09A-8516-4410-BD51-3198FB928382@microsoft.com... > Very basic question but I'm a novice--when I hit Alt-Screen Print so I can > print the contents of an open window nothing happens. Re: Screen print
Just as a heads-up, Alt+PrintScreen only captures the active window.
PrintScreen captures the whole screen. You can also use the Snipping Tool in Vista to capture screens. But nothing every prints until you actually print it.
