I can't set up my HP printer till I can locate My Printer. Looked
everywhere-not under programs. Please help. I' m using windows vista.

I'm sorry but your post is unclear. Printer make/model? How is it
connected to the computer? Any error messages (exact text)?
Normally for a locally connected printer you install the drivers and
during the installation routine you'll be told to connect the printer.
Get Vista drivers from the printer mftr.'s website.
If you need more help, please post back with a better description of
your problem, remembering that we cannot see your computer or your
