You needed to click on the "Obtain software" link to find out that the

Be aware that the 1220c driver in Vista is just a minimal
driver. HP does not intend to write a full driver with the
extra features such as tiling.

Yes it works. I am currently using that driver on a Vista
laptop over a network to the 1220c that is connected to a XP
machine. Getting networking to work was a bit convoluted in
that I had to manually create the \\xpmachine\1220cprinter
port.

David I have the same problem, I`m using vistax64 and but the printer is
connected to onother mashine with XP. I see that you manually create the
\\xpmachine\1220cprinter port.
Can you help me too do the same, I need instructions please.
