RE: my printer won't print until I reboot
I had a simliar problem and tried the solution you recommend but it does not
work. I have 2 USB printers attached to my desktop and 2 other laptops on
the home network. I share both printers on the desktop. When I print to
either from laptop #1 everything works fine. When I print to the HP
Photosmart 8250 from laptop #2 everything works fine. But when I printer to
the HP1020 from laptop #2 I get the problem where the file cannot be deleted
from either the desktop or the laptop and the file only prints when I reboot
the system. I did notice that when I print to the 8250 from laptop #2 the
Owner is listed as XXXXX (my user name on the system) but when I print to the
1020 the Owner is listed as Home. When I print to either printer from laptop
#1 the Owner shows as Guest.
