Intel Microcode Reliability Patch
Hi,
Anyone have any information on the Reliability Patch for new Intel
Processors. There is no info givin on the page to download the patch.
Apparantly its from intel and changes the processor microcode. But i dont
want to patch this unless i know what it is. If it will speed up the system
and make it more stable im for it. If it slows down the processor or has
different stepping rates im not for it. Im surprissed there is no information
on this patch.
Thanks, Brian

RE: Intel Microcode Reliability Patch
Can only comment that I installed it on my desktop & laptop - no noticable
change in either (i.e. no problems, but no apparent benefits either).
