Memory

I understand the difference and usage of Ram, Virtual Memory & ReadyBoost.
My question is - OS - Vista Home Premium > 3 Gb Ram
Should I allow Windows to monitor Vm or set the amount, if so how much?
Currently have VM set to 3Gb max.
Is Readyboost really necessary ? - currently have a 2Gb Flash Drive working.
Every thing is working OK .> trying to clarify things.

Allow Vista to handle this.

Using a ReadyBoast device will improve system performance for certain tasks

Letting Vista handle it is fine.

With the amount of RAM you have, my guess is that ReadyBoost will do
little or nothing for you. I tried it here, with 2GB of RAM, and
noticed no difference in performance.
