Unable to restore system from boot dvd.

After removing Acronis Disk Director Suite 10, my pc show a very nice
BSD stopping to start.

So I insert the boot cd to run the system restore utility but, when I
tried to restore a point, this message appear : " Access is Denied
(0x80070005".

Very very funny.. .:-(

Any idea to solve my issue ?

Is there any other information on the blue screen?

The information "Access is Denied 0x80070005" is common and gets around 120
hits on a KB search?

You mentioned "boot CD" and I'm assuming that you meant you are using the
Vista Installation DVD and accessing the Repair options.

I remember that there was no explication of the type of issue.
There was also other codes like: 0X... something but I did not write
them down.
I'm sure that the last two codes were: 0X0000000, 0X000000

Yes.

Anyway, I decide to reformat the hard disk. But the curiosity still
remain.....
