Task Scheduler

Is anyone else having a problem was task scheduler waking up from sleep
and shutting down a couple of minutes later, without completing the
scheduled task. If I reschedule the task and leave the PC powered on,
the task runs fine.

What's annoying is it was working and have no idea what happened to make
it stop.

John, others are definitely having this problem: see the Performance &
Maintenance thread "Scheduler wakes, doesn't wait for task to end, then goes
back to s" (started 3/17/2007 by Pete Furtado). I have two Vista machines
that are doing this, but one of the machines, like yours, behaved properly
for a while. Only after making a minor change to my balanced power
management settings (I changed the sleep timeout value), did the problem
surface.
