A quick search on google for 0X800423F3 (the leading character should be a
"0", not an "O") reveals that this is a likely to be a problem with VSS.
There are also several reports of interference from Norton/Symantec software
causing this problem. Do you have that installed? If so, I would try
disabling it during the restore operation.
