Sleep command

Running Vista Home Premium; the past few days, The computer does not
Turn off when I use the "sleep" option in shutoff. Also using the
administrator role and the Windows Classic theme..any thoughts? Thanks

Me again..I just remembered installing a webcam a few days back and the
installation put in some programs including Windows Live Messenger. I'll
check the options on that program and let you know if that is the
culprit...BW

> allows the program to start up with windows or not..now applied and crisis
> is over..
