Browsing window resizes

I have Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition in my laptop.
When I browse the window succesively becomes smaller.
Every time I click, the lower border moves upwards a bit and after a while
the window is just a narrow stripe. Terribly annoying!
This does not happen for all web sites, only for some.
Why does this happen?
What can I do?
