I do not see a real improovement using 2GB Readyboost Flash on my laptop with
1GB, running Vista Home Premium.
However, I could imagine following improovements to make is more useful:
- Use it as cache for system icons. May be this improoves responsivenes of
Explorer, or System Settings ?
- Keep Cache on Flash Device after Shutdown/Sleep etc. This should be
possible using hashing AND pagefile not being cleared after shutdown.
Obviously the real benefit of readyboost is available only quite a while
after startup of the PC, after populating the page file/cache file.
