Removing Bluetooth Devices Icon from Control Panel - Windows Vista Business
::Hello All.::
::I am trying to remove the Bluetooth Devices icon that is present in
the Control Panel in Windows Vista Business, this computer is not
Bluetooth capable so there is no need for this icon. I have located the
*bthprops.cpl* file and *bthprops.cpl.mui* and have disabled the
Bluetooth service in Services. I am still unable to delete the
previously mentioned files even though I have full administrative
privileges on the computer. I also noticed while examining the files’
properties, the attribute A which I assume is an acronym for Archive.
Can file attributes be reset so they may be deleted? How is this done?::
::Second problem, in the Control Panel there is an unnamed folder
without any associations, how does one go about removing an orphaned or
abandoned folder within the Control Panel.::
::OS: Windows Vista Business SP1::
::Toshiba Satellite Pro A200 – Laptop::
::Thanking all in advance for your help.::
