Multiple Vista Issues

Howdy.

Ok, to start off with the problem that finally triggered me
to write and ask about it is sort of unexplainable, but I'll do my
best.

I turned my PC on yesterday, and all these problems occured.

The first symptoms I noticed were:

1. This strange vista program that I never heard of started
protecting my data or something. Can't remember what it was
called, as now its suddenly gone. "COM" something.

2. This program I even forgot I had called Gamespy Arcade had
appeared on the bottom left with the fast tabs to explorer etc.
And Media Player had appeared on the fast tabs aswell,
and it wasn't there earlier. So I tried to open the Gamespy,
and it went to the Non-responding state.
I tried to uninstall it, but it said Uninstall.LOG not found?
So I deleted all the files and now it seems to be gone from my pc.

3. As I was trying to uninstall the program,
I noticed all the icons in the Control Panel had change size.
They were HUGE. This has happened to me before too.
It changes the icon sized randomly, when ever it pleases to,
and I can't stop it.

4. From now on, all my open windows,
be they game or Internet Explorer, pictures etc,
are all jammed at the bottom right of my screen in a one inch space.
If I open one window, I can see half of the text on it at the bottom.
If I open 2, it splits into half etc, so I can't see what windows are
open.
Hope someone understood what i explained..

5. This is an old problem, and occurs randomly.
Internet Eplorer goes nuts. It starts to open new tabs endlessly.
It just keeps opening them untill it jams my PC,
or I try to be faster than it.. And no, its not funny.

I scanned my system using Avast, and this online scanner,
but neither found nothing. I know I didn't make any changes
on my pc or on vista.

Every week I fight a new problem with this machine.
I've installed vista 7 times over again. I need my PC every day.
I've solved many issues but now I'm at the end of my line,
and a few more installations away from moving to a yurt in a desert.

I've soon about had it with this system..

Can't think of anything else right now, but I'll add more if more is to
come..
