Internet Disconnection after SLEEP

After I wake my computer up from sleep mode, the internet was disconnection.
The diagnostics says something like limited or no connection. It just
disconnects itself automatically, all i can do is restart the pc or the modem.

Any ideas?

Have you tried right-clicking on the Systray Network icon and choosing
"Diagnose and repair"?

> Yup, I tried that and sometimes it repairs it. But every time i sleep my computer it disconnects itself again and i have "diagnose and repair" again to make it work....

Hi All,

Since installing an ADSL BT HomeHub 2 I am having a similar problem.
The internet goes off when resuming Vista from sleep but it's due to the
HomeHub reseting. To me it looks like Vista is sending out a reset
instruction to anything that cares to listen.

I've tested this 6 times this evening, each time I resume the Vista PC
from sleep the ADSL HomeHub 2 does a reset. Other XP PCs on the same LAN
have no impact on the HomeHub. Unplugging the Vista PC from the network
before doing the resume fixes the problem but it's a real pain.

I've tried putting static IP info on the Vista PC, thinking the DHCP
request could be causing the Hub to reset, this didn't help. I also
tried installing a 10/100 switch between the Vista PC and the Hub, again
this didn't help.

Does this sound related to the Sleep issue you've seen?
